CAR DUTIES.
AMERICANS SURPRISED. PARIS, April 10. American motor car importers hafl an unpleasant surprise yesterday, when they found that the duties on imported cars had increased overnight 25 cents. It is stated that the Customs Board took this action iu order to prevent the threatened rushing over of thousands of American cars m order to avoid the new French Tariff Bill, which will operate in a few weeks’ time. '
