BRITISH COAL BILL.
OWNERS’ PROPOSALS REJECTED. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, April 11. The Miners’ Executive unanimously rejected the coalowners’ proposal for a spread-over of hours on a weekly or fortnightly basis, instead of a rigiu 7J hour day, as provided by the Government’s Coal Mines Bill. They decided to demand that the Coal Bill in its present form should become law.
