AUCKLAND ROBBERY.

REMUERA HOME ENTERED. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, April 11. Entering the home of Commander B. ,L. Hewitt at Remuera while it was occupied, an intruder stole a sum of money in a handbag and a diamond ring, valued at £45, from a bedroom occupied by Lady Tuck, who was staying with Commander and Mrs Hewitt. A handbag containing £2 10s was also stolenjrom a room on the other side of the house. • The robbery took place while Lady Tuck and Commander and Mrs Hewitt were in the drawing room in the evening, and was not discovered until Lady Tuck went to her bedroom at about 9.30 p.m.
