AID IN AUSTRALIA. ' CANBERRA, April 9. It is understood that the Federal Government lias decided to grant assistance to manufacturers of newsprint in Australia, probably in the form of a bounty of £4 a ton on paper made in the,' Commonwealth, and an extra duty of £1 on imported newsprint.
