LEVEL CROSSING TOLL
McLEOD’S FLAT TRAGEDY. LITTLE FRESH TO REPORT. Per Press Association. WHANGAREI, April 7. There is little fresh to report concerning the level crossing tragedy at McLeod’s Flat. The injured are all progressing satisfactorily, but Phillip Sparks is still in a serious state. No information can be obtained from the injured. ANOTHER ACCIDENT. CAR HURLED INTO THE AIR. Per Press Association. ' AUCKLAND, April 7. Another level crossing accident occurred shortly after midday to-day. Mr Albert Tate, of Waimauku, was injured when a south-bound train hurled his car into the air at the Waimauku crossing. The extent of his injuries is not known. '
