FRENCH MUTINY.

Received April 7, 12.45 p.m. PARIS, March 6. The War Ministry reveals that 40 poilu in the disciplinary camp on the Island of Cleron mutinied on March 20. They entered a cafe, barricaded the lnors and sang ditties insulting to the officers. In order to prevent bloodshed the officers had the cafe surrounded and nvited the malcontents to surrender. .Many complied, but the ringleaders, •vho are ex-naval men and were concerned in a mutiny some time ago, .vere starved into submission in three days.
