In the case of those Schools which had an average attendance for the year 1929 OF NOT MORE THAN 240, nominations may be made at the Annual Meetings. Notice is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of the Palmerston North Borough Council held on MONDAY, the 24th day of March, 1930, the following resolution was passed and will be submitted for confirmation at a Special Meeting of the Council, to be held on MONDAY, the 28th day of April, 1930, at 7.30 p.m., at the Council Chambers, the Square, Palmerston North:— “That the Palmerston North Borough Council accept a surrender of the term, right, title and interest of Gerald Randolph Greer in and to that piece of land containing 3 roods 20.32 perches, be the same a little more or less, being Lots 77, 78, 79 and 80 on Deposited Plan Number 6873, and being part of Rural Section 1636, Town of Palmerston North, and being the land comprised in Memorandum of Lease Registered Number 16165 (Wellington Registry), and to grant four separate leases to the said Gerald Randolph Greer at the rental following, that is to say:— 1. For Lot 77, Deposited Plan 6873, £5 per annum. 2. For Lot 78, Deposited Plan 6873, £5 per annum. 3. For ; Lot 79, Deposited Plan 6873, £5 per annum. 4. For Lot 80, Deposited Plan 6873,

£5 per annum. The surrender and new leases shall take effect from the Ist day of May, 1930. The said new leases shall each contain the following provisions, i terms and conditions, that is to say:— (a) The term of each new lease.shall he unexpired portion of the existing term contained in the said Memorandum of Lease Registered Number 16165. (b) Similar provisions to those contained or implied, in the said Memorandum of Lease Registered Number 16165.
