CHURCH SERVICES.

The United Evangelical Church anniversary services will be held to-morrow in the Rosy Hall and those attending will enter by the .main entrance to tho-Rosy Picture Theatre. Tho pastor, Mr Wesley E. Richards, will preach. The morning subject will be applicable by directing attention to the incorruptible crowns to be awarded ■ to., the faithful at. the great anniversary when our Lord will be the prize giver. There will be special singing by the children at the afternoon service at 3, when prizes will be distributed and a brief address givbn by the pastor on' “God’s Tenderest - Care.” In ‘the. evening at. ' 6evon o’clock Mr 'Richards will preach on the subject of “Broken Things.” A very special invitation is given- to all -to attend these services. ■ ' J ' The services at tho Salvation Army, Broadway, conducted by Ensign Bridge, evangelist,' aro- attracting increasing congregations. On Sunday night at seven o’clock Ensign Bridge will’ give another' address on one of Pilate’s questions to Christ, “What is Truth .?” Large congregations are anticipated.” The services to-morrow at ‘the Cuba Street-Methodist Church will be conducted by Rov. J.' IX McArthur. At’ll a.m. the studies in the Lord’s' Prayer will-be. cOn-' turned, the subject being: “Hallowed- be Thy Name.” At the close the Sacrament of the Lord’s supper will be administered. At 2.30 p.m. Mr McArthur will conduct the service at Longburn, after which the Sacrament will be dispensed. At 5.30 Mr McArthur will conduct the service at the Public Hospital. At 7 p.m. at Cuba Street, a shortened service will be held to permit of tho repeat rendering of the sacred cantata, “Tho Rolling Seasons.” In St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church tomorrow forenoon. Rev. G. T. Brown, M.A., will begin a series of special addresses to parents. His subject will bo “The Sweetest Word in our Language.” The children of the Sunday School aro making a special effort to bring their parents with them to the service and parents are being urged to encourage the children by responding to their efforts. In the evening the talk will be directed to young men and women and will be entitlted “The Test of Experience.” Farewell services will be held at St. St. Paul’s Methodist Church, Broadway Avenuo, to-morrow, when. Rev. J. Ernest ’Parsons will close his ministry prior to his visit to England. The morning subject will be “Forget Not All His Benefits,” and there will bo tho usual interesting story talk for tho children. At 2.30 in the afternoon there will be a Sunday School rally to which parents and friends aro invited, when Mr Parson will give ■an address. At the evening service the subject will be, “What Shall I do with Jesus?” The. solo, “If Christ were standing here,” will bo sung by Mrs R. Wild. The Communion of the Lord’s Supper will follow. At Milson at seven o’clock the preacher will be Mr C. Woodley.
