At the wool sales to-day, 9665 bales were offered, including 9195 from New Zealand. Approximately 4400 bales were sold. There was a large offering of greasy Merinos, and a limited selection of crossbreds. Thero was general competition, and prices were maintained. New Zealand realisations: Greasy. Merino, Bankhouse, top price 13Jd, average price 12d; crossbred Makarewa, 92d, 9Jd. Sales close on April 9.
