VILLAGE DESTROYED
PANIC-STRICKEN PEASANTS. EIGHT CHILDREN BURNED TO DEATH. Received March 22, 1 p.m. BUCHAREST, March 21. Eight children were burned to death in a fire which destroyed the village of Slobozir. The peasants, overcome by panic, fled from their homes, leaving the children, behind.
