TIAKITAHUNA, March A The district has been experiencing a period of dry weather with the result that several residents are short of water. .Potato digging has commenced and crops are reported to be of fair condition. The school playground, which has been under the plough, has been sown. It is hoped that good results will be obtained. Mias Jean Fbrgusson has 1 - been staying with Misses Matheson. The annual meeting of residents in connection with hail affairs takes plaoe in the hall next week.
