The scores in the time-limit billiarda matches are as follow: —Lindrum, in play, 23,417, including breaks of 640, 633 and '2OO unfinished; Newman, 20,037, including breaks of 527 and 548. Davis, in play, 20,260, including a break of 402; McConachy, 19,723, including breaks of' 1150, 316 and 316. The New Zealander’s big break, which was his fourteenth thousand this season, occupied a little over an hour and involved the overcoming of several difficulties. Play in the evening session was very even. ASSOCIATION FOOTBALL. LONDON, March 6. In the English Association Cup replay, Hull beat Newcastle, 1 goal to nil. BOXING. SYDNEY, March 7. At the Leichhardt Stadium to-night, in a fifteen rounds contest for the welter title, Tommy Fairhall, the challenger, outpointed Wally Hancock, the title holder, after a gruelling contest. Hancock was se-veral times groggy.
