Bright and interesting, the publication is a carefully prepared summary of the essential facts correlated with the development and prosperity of the Dominion Splendid photographic pictures do justice to the natural beauties of this country and unfold in miniature the vistas of loveliness which may be seen by the traveller from overseas. Magnificent views have been reproduced with remarkable effect. In addition to giving an adequate conception of the beautiful sights, the booklet contains a wealth of information of very material value to those seeking to learn something of this young country. Pointedly it indicates the advantages of the railways to farmers, deals with the progress of New Zealand, and depicts the varied scenes which always so profoundly impress visitors from overseas. Scenic splendours of both islands provide an incentive to the visitor to see them for himself. Naturally enough, there is a concise article on the prosperous farming activities of New Zealand and the endowments which they receive from bountiful nature. The booklet is one which has been skilfully produced and it is full of educational value.
