SUNDAY SCHOOL PICNIC.

There was a large attndance at the Ashhurst Domain on Saturday when the annual picnic for the children of the Sunday schools in the All Saints’ and St. Peter’s parishes was held. A feature was the number of parents in attendance, while Canon G. Y. and Mrs Woodward, Rev. J. C. Abbott, Messrs Owtram and Metcalfe (members of tho All Saints’ vestry) were also present. A sports programme was conducted under the supervision of Rev. J. R. Neild, while the ladies’ committee dispensed refreshments.
