W. Boddy (Feilding) with a handicap of 4 reached the semi-final of tho men’s handicap singles when he was beaten by Moorhead (20), 60 —50. Boddy and Louisson (5) were beaten by Meha and Moorhead (17), 60 —48. Misses Innes (Palmerston North), 20, beat Miss Rutherford (Feilding), scr, in the final of tho ladies’ handicap singles, 50—40. Mrs Caldwell and Miss Cummerfield (Feilding) wore put out in tho semifinal of tho ladies’ handicap doubles, the event being won by Misses Innes and Rutherford.
