EXPLOSION IN NANKING.
SHANGHAI, Feb. 9. Yesterday afternoon Nanking was rocked by the second munition explosion within six months. A Government powder magazine on the outskirts of the capital suddenly burst, shaking the entire city and demolishing houses and windows over a large area. Fortunately, only a few guards were in the vicinity. Ail were injured, but not seriously. Negligence is believed to he responsible for the affair.
