ST. ANDREW’S CHURCH
YOUTH WORK SUNDAY. Yesterday was a day full of interest to the youth and youth workers of St. Andrew’s Church. In the morning was held a dedication service for tho workers, and one of their number, Mr Robert Stewart, was ordained as a deacon. There was also a presentation of prizes for perfect church attendance to members of the Young Worshippers’ League. The following are the prize-winners: —Margaret Brown, Betty. Campbell, Murdoch Campbell, .Noeline Drinnan, Hugh Edwards, Clarice Edwards, Jean Ferguson, John Forbes, __ Alastair Fraser, James Godfrey, Esther Henderson, Margaret Henderson, Stewart Hopwood, Barbara Jorgensen, Joan Jorgensen, June Lange, Beryl Little, Lawrence Rowlands, Robert Stewart, Catherine Stewart, Annie Swan, Harry Swan, Joan Swinbourne, John Taylor, Audrey Tily, Gwen Wilson, Robert Wilson and Keith Worboys. In the afternoon the youth of the congregation were gathered in the church, when promotions, from cradle roll to Bible Classes, were made class by class. Prizes were also presented to members of the Sunday School for highest marks m their respective classes during the past year. The following were the prize-winners:—AVilliam Allen, Margnret Brown, Minnie Carson, Noeline Drinnan, Jean Ferguson, John Franklin, Jack Forbes, Duncan Forrest, James Godfrey, Margaret Henderson, Frank Hopwood, Beryl Lange, Keitha Scales, Catherine Stewart, Robert Stewart, Harry Swan, Joan Swinbourne, Grace Waterrens, Norman Wandon and Keith Worboys.
