WOMAN SECURES £90,000. CASE dTTmeRICA. V DETROIT, Dec. 19. -Miss Bertha Cleaveritter, aged 43, has secured judgment tor £90,000, which is the largest turf ever awarded in the United States on a breach of promise action. ’ ' In 1917 Miss Cleaveriger arrived from the country and started a rooming house for business men. John Henry Castle, one of her boarders, worked in the Ford factory for £1 a dav. Then they became engaged.
