DOUBLE MURDER.
DISCOVERY IN SYDNEY SUBURB. SYDNEY, Dec. 20. What appears to be a case of murder and suicide was discovered at Punchbowl, a suburb of Sydney, to-day. The bodies of Wallace Ducie, aged 25, and Jessie Smithson, aged 20, were found in some scrub. A week’s exposure to the weather and the ravages of ants had made the bodies almost unrecognisable. . , The theory of double murder is held. Both victims were shot through the temple. . . . , , Both had been missing since last Friday. Ducie was wanted by the police for wife desertion.
