WEDNESDAY COMPETITION COMMENCED. A commencement was made yesterday with tho Wednesday competition conducted by the Manawatu Lawn Tennis Association. The first series of fixtures were not played, but postponed until the end of the season. FEILDING BEAT PALMERSTON NORTH. At Linton Street Feilding had a strong team out against Palmerston North and won by 14 sets to two.
