KITCHEN TEA. (From Our Own Correspondent). RONGOTEA, Nov. 13. A large crowd gathorod at the Masonic Hall on Tuesday evening to extend their best wishes to Mr J. C. Lyon, and Miss D. McGee, who are to bo married in the near future. Tho evening took the form of a “kitchen tea,” and many valuable and useful presents were recoivod. Mr Lyon, who was one of tho foundation members of Lodge Rongotea, No. 140, 1.0.0. F., is a very popular member of tho community, and the vory many complimentary remarks which were passed during tho evening were evidences of this fact. Miss McGee is also well-known to Rongotea residents, but for tho past threo years lias been residing in Palmerston North. At a suitable juncture Mr Matheson, District Grand Master, from Feeding, on behalf of Kopane Lodge, and the visitors present, outlined the many excellent qualities of tho guests of the evening, and wished them every happiness and prosperity in the future. Mr Lyon and Mr T. McGee suitably responded. Musio for the dancing, which was indulged in until a Into hour, was supplied by Mr Matheson, whilo Past Grand Mastor Trink ner carried out the duties of M C
