IN DIVORCE.

In the Supreme Court this morning, before His Honour Mr Justice Blair, Mabel Elvira Nordbye, of Norsewood, petitioned for a dissolution of her marriage with Louis Nordbye, of Rotorua. Mr Cooper appeared for petitioner and Mr Grant for respondent. An answer to the petition had been filed, but it was withdrawn. Petitioner stated that she was married at Patea in 1918 and subsequently lived in Norsewood until 1924, when she and her husband were legally separated. There were three children of the marriage. The separation had not been broken since the order had been made. William Malcolm Thompson, father of petitioner, gave evidence of the separation. , , His Honour granted a decree nisi, to be made absolute after three months, with interim custody of the children. Costs amounting to £3O were also allowed.
