KING AND QUEEN.
WARM WELCOME AT SANDRINGHAM. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, Aug. 25. The King and Queen were warmly welcomed to Sandringham, their Norfolk home. In response to the wishes of the King that the welcome should be quiet and informal, the cheering at Wolferton station was subdued, but the King constantly saluted the crowds by raising his hat. ~ . . ~ The King’s tenants assembled inside the gates to greet Their Majesties, who were given a cordial reception. Shortly after his arrival the King, accompanied by Queen Mary, walked in the "•rounds with the aid of a stick and showed particular interest in changes and improvements made during thenabsence.
