BANKRUPTCY CASE.

MOTION FOR DISCHARGE. JUDGE’S COMMENT. (By Telegraph—Special to Standard.) AUCKLAND, July 26. “I am not going to discharge any bankrupt who does not take the trouble to come here for his discharge,” said Mr Justice Ostler in the Supreme Court after a case had been twice called without response. “It can stand over until the next sitting.” The Acting Official Assignee, Mr V. R. Crowliurst, said that there was no opposition to the motion for discharge from bankruptcy. His Honour asked Mr Crowliurst to notify bankrupt—in this case a woman —that the case had been adjourned. She would either have to get a solicitor to ask for her discharge or ask for it herself.
