REMITTING A SENTENCE.
CASE AT HAMILTON, Per Press Association, HAMILTON, July 27, Tho Minister of Justice, Hon, T, M, Wilford, yesterday telegraphed to Rev, H, E, Jones, Vicar of Frankton. as follows; “Are you prepared to take charge of William Morrison p If so, he will ho released immediately,” Morrison is a young Scotsman who was sentenced at Hamilton 12 days ago to a mcAith’s imprisonment for bogging, Considerable local agitation arose and a question was asked in Parliament, Mr Jones has replied to the Minister, agreeing to take charge of Morrison,
