RAID IN AUCKLAND.

SEQUEL IN THE COURT.

Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, July 5. Detectives searched a house in Cook Street and seized a considerable quantity of jewellery. They arrested George Lee aged 36 years, a boilermaker, and Edward James Ensden, aged 35 years, a waterside worker. At .the Police Court Ensden was charged with stealing jewellery valued at £SO belonging to a person unknown. Lee was charged with receiving jewellery valued at £SO knowing it to have been dishonestly obtained. They were remanded on bail of £IOO each.
