CHANGEABLE CONDITIONS
The Government meteorologist telegraphed to-day.—The indications: are for northerly winds, moderate to strong to strong to gale after about 24 hours, and backing by west to south. Expect dull woatlier with much mist and fog in parts and rain is probable in places. Heavy rain is to bo expected with mild temperatures. After about 24 hours the conditions will become very cold. Tho barometer will be falling after about 16 hours and then rising.
