HAND SHATTERED.
DISCHARGE OF GUN. ROTORUA, June 7. A returned soldier, Ivan Laurie, was in the act of cleaning an undischarged gun when it exploded, shattering, halt his right hand. He was admitted to the hospital late last evening. His condition is satisfactory. - Laurie was only discharged from the hospital last week after another accident.
