MANY CASES AT WHANGAREI. (By Telegraph—Special to Standard-. AUCKLAND, Juno 7. Many cases of influenza are reported in the Wliangarei district and the attendance at all the schools has been greatly affected. Out of 500 scholars at the Wliangarei primary schools yesterday between 70 and 80 were absent. A large proportion of the High School children are also laid up. At the girls’ hostel 30 are confided to the dormitories.
