REMAND GRANTED.
Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, June 0. After rehearing the case of Thomas Mercer, a land salesman, who was sentenced on Tuesday to 14 days’ hard labour for being intoxicated while in charge of a motor car, the magistrate, Mr Levvy, imposed a fine of £25, the license to be cancelled for two years, rescinding the previous sentence.
