DEATH OF BABY SON. Received May 16, 9.45 a.m. SYDNEY, May 16. A message Deniliquin states that in desperately throiving a pot of blazing paint through a window in order to save her own life. Mrs Charleston unwittingly dashed the liquid over her baby son, who was on the venandah and hidden from her sight. The child died in hospital. Mrs Charleston was painting when .a spark ignited the paint and set fire to her clothes. She, however, was not badly burnt.
