MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE MEETS.

Mr J. C. Young presided over tho regular meeting of the management committee of the Manawatu I'ootball Association last evening. Also present were Messrs J.'Dick, J. Jenkuisoii, J. Marshall, H. Facer and F. J. Fox (secretary). An apology for absence was received fyom Mr T. R. Lees. It was decided to make the leaguo competition of four rounds, subject to review when tho Chatham Cup entries were received. It was decided to invite a Wellington team to Palmerston North for June 3. The Wanganui Football Association wrote suggesting an annual competition for the champion teams of Manawatu, Taranaki and Wanganui. The secretary was instructed to inform the writers that it would be preferable for the competition to be for representative teams.

The fixtures for tho second round of tho league were drawn the same as the first, Feilding to play the “bye” team each week.
