THE COMPETITIONS

MUSIC, DANCING AND ELOCUTIONARY. INTERESTING SESSIONS AT OPERA HOUSE. The eighth annual festival conducted by the Manawatu Competitions Society is proving a huge success. The attendances are greater than last year, and the- preceding three years, which speaks volumes for the popularity of the local society and the standard ot competition.
