Silt A. DUCKHAAI’S ENDORSEAIENT. SOUND PATRIOTISM. Endorsing the views of the Australian High Commissioner, Sir Granville R.yrie, on the importance of “Investing British,” Sir Arthur Duckham, a Big Four delegate, in a letter to the London Times, says that members of the Economic Mission travelled Australia under unique auspices. They saw many opportunities of investing British capital, and, in their report, expressed. their belief that for a permanent increase in Australia’s prosperity iand productivity, an essential condition was increased trade with Britain. . , .... , “It is essential.” he writes, ‘that Australia should establish a sympathetic and reliable market for its primary products in Britain. It is-only too obvious than Britain must establish similar markets for her manufactured goods. . “Australia recognises 'the necessity of improving her industrial condition. She is tackling her problems, but in order to maintain her increasing prosperity, she needs men and money. “She is determined to have British men, and it is in our interests to ensure that the money shall also be British to enable Australia, to develpp on British r lines.
