WHALING OPERATIONS.

LIMIT SUGGESTED. Received April 10, 9.5 a.m. (British Official iWreless.) RUGBY, April 8. Experts from 15 countries are attending the annual meeting of the International Council for the Exploration of the Sea, which began in London to-day. Among the subjects to be considered is the protection of whales. Comprehensive statistics are being obtained from whaling stations all over the world, and it has been suggested that a limit should be put to whaling operations in order to prevent an increase in the present rate of exploitation.
