SPORTSMEN RETURN.

AFTER EXTENDED TRIP. Some anxiety was felt yesterday for Messrs F. Just and A. Needham, of Palmerston North, who had made a shooting trip into the Tararuas over the week-end and who had not returned. As .they had not taken a large supply, of food and were expected honie on Sunday evening, their friends became alarmed and last evening search parties were being arranged. In the midst of the preparations the missing men returned. Messrs Just and Needham explained that they were enjoying their trip so much that they had extended it, little thinking this would cause alarm. They treated the concern of their friends rather as a joke, as both know the ranges well and have made many such trips.
