IN BANKRUPTCY.
TWO PETITIONS FILED. Two petitions in bankruptcy were filed this morning at Palmerston North. George Walter Poole Walker, fruiterer, of Foxton, filed a statement indicating total debts of £558 18s 7d, with assets consisting of a lorry valued at £75 and book debts estimated to produce £2 15s 3d. The principal creditors are as follow:—Senter Ltd. (Hastings) £133 10s lid; Flyger anti Taylor (Palmerston North) £2l 2s 9d; Bannatyne and Hunter (Wellington) £ls 13s lOd; G. W. Arlidge and Co. (Palmerston North) £ls 15s; Manawatu Herald (Foxton) £2O 8s 9d; Anderson and Son (Napier) £l4 Os 2d; Pople and Son (Auckland) £6l; C. K. Woodroofe (Foxton). £6B; Jacobs and Grant £3O; J. Kwong Lee Co. (Palmerston North) £2l Is 8d; P. -Singh (Palmerston North) £l6 10s Id; Evans and Sawyer (Manakay) £l4 13s 9d; Hawke’s Bay Fruitgrowers £l3 Is; Etan Ice Cream Co. Ltd. (Palmerston North) £32 6s 6d; F. Frost (Havelock North) £l2 19s 6d.. Showing a deficiency of £43 2s 5d in his statement, Albert Royal Thomas, blacksmith, of Ashhurst, has also filed a petition in bankruptcy. Debts amounting to _ £B2 2s 5d are shown as owing to unsecured creditors, while debts to, Sn" creditors are set out at £2OO, there being no surplus from the security The assets are valued at £39. The secured creditors are Messrs Veftch (Dannevi*.), McClcske, (Waipukurau), each for £IOO. The principal unsecured creditors are F. Prentice (Foxton) £25; Blakiston and Blakistot (Dannevirke) -£29 8s sd, Bank of New Zealand. £25.
