KNOCKED DOWN BY CAR.

BROKEN LEG SUSTAINED. THAMES, April 1. When Mr Alexander Creig, of Waitakaruru, was alighting, from a car he was knocked down by a service car driven by Mr J. Corbett, which wasen route to Thames.

Mr Creig was conveyed by ambulance to the Thames Hospital, where his leg was found to have been broken.
