CATCHES AT W'HANGAROA. SPLENDID SPORT-. OBTAINED. WHANGAROA, April 1. Splendid sport is being experienced on the Wliangaroa deep-sea fishing grounds. The latest catches are: Mr Stanley Ellis, Hamilton, swordfish, 2841 b., and mako, 2501 b., launch lleelemin; Mr Stanley Holder, lvaitaia, mako, 2871 b., launch Wanderer. Mr Holder had a lively hour and a-half. His fish put up a splendid figlrt, frequently leaping clear of the water. His companion, Mr A. Wilkinson, lost a very tine swordfish through his line breaking.
