CANTERBURY TO WEST COAST. Per Press Association. REEFTON, March 30. A large and representative gathering of citizens met the Canterbury delegation at Mariua Springs yesterday and motored them to Reefton. At a meeting held last night attended by Greymowli, Buller, Murchison, Reefton, Amuri and Christchurch citizens the following resolution was passed unanimously: “That this meeting of representatives from Canterbury and the West Coast affirms the national importance of the speedy construction of a motor road between Canterbury and the West Coast by way of Lewis Pass, and that the Government be urged to have the work undertaken immediately and carried out without delay.” •
