POLITICIAN CONVICTED.

SERIOUS OFFENCE. (Australian Press Association.) Received March 22, 11.35 a.m. OTTAWA/ March 21. Louis M. Augar, a Liberal, the youngest member of the Home of Commons, was convicted in the Supreme Court at Ontario of a serious offence against a young girl. The Parliamentary authorites hope that Augar will resign his seat before sentence is passed and if he does not proceedings will be taken in the House to vacate the seat.
