OVER THE BRIDGE.

AN UNEXPECTED CLIMAX, Fate intervened with the apparent intention of a young woman to commit suicide at Breakfast Creek bridge, Brisbane, the other night. After having clambered over the iron rails of the bridge, iand as she was evidently preparing to plunge into the water, she missed her footing and tell back on the footpath. She was carried unconscious to a nearby store, and on recovering was taken to hospital, but she refused to disclose her identity.
