Per Press Association. HAMILTON, March 1. The opponents of Bishop Cherrington‘s policies met last night and nominated Mr H. M. Hammond for the Synod by-election consequent on the death of the Synodsman, Mr Earrer. The bishop has called a special meeting of the Synod for March 12.
