ENGLISH SCHOOLBOYS.
PARTY ARRIVES TO-DAY. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND. Feb. 14. By the lonic, which arrived this morning, came on a tour of instruction 45 English public schoolboys. Mr J. R. Darling, master at the Charterhouse School, who is in charge of the party, said that the tour was undertaken with the view of strengthening the bonds of Empire. The boys were not going to migrate. They were out to learn all that they could. When the tour was completed they would either go into business or back to the Universities. The main objects of the tour were (1) to spread first-hand knowledge at Home; (2) to exchange views and the establishment of personal contact with their contemporaries and others in the Dominions; (o) to study local conditions from the personal point of view by introducing >i.he party to every possible aspect of the life or tbc country they visit.
