NEARING COMPLETION.

MASSEY COLLEGE BUILDINGS

ADMINISTRATIVE BLOCK

It is anticipated that in about six weeks the substantial new administrative block on the former McHardy estate will be available for use by the Massey Agricultural College. It was reported to a meeting of the College Council yesterday that the building was nearing completion, and, when ready for occupation, would probably be used for lecture purposes, pending the erection of a new college. The principal house, it was stated, was also in an advanced stage of construction. Both the buildings occupy commanding positions on the bluff overlooking the college farm property. The principal, Professor G. fa. Peren, reported that the new dairy factory had been completed, and cheese was now being manufactured. The grounds surrounding the building had also been laid out.
