PRIZE LAMBS.
FROM LAST ROYAL SHOW.
JUDGING IN LONDON. (Australian Press Association). Received January 16, 1.5 p.m. LONDON, Jan. 15. A parcel of prize lambs from the New Zealand Royal Show of 1928, which was held in Palmerston North, were exhibited at Smithfield market to-day and were very favourably commented upon. The judges placed Mr H. R. Green’s (Kairanga) lot 731 first, and L. B. Wall’s (Kairanga) lots 722 and 723 second and third.
At the judging in Palmerston North last November, the judge in the class of fat lambs (in the wool) was Mr W. G. Vickors, of Levin. Lot 731 was placed third, and lot 723 placed first. Lot 728 exhibited by Mr R. M. Collis (Kaira/nga), was placed second. Lot 725, W. Perry and Sons (Masterton) was very highly commended.
