The old adage—“a friend in need —was demonstrated when a number of residents of the town of Temora (N.S.AV.) under the supervision of Mr AA\ H. Byrnes, erected a home for an old age pensioner who had his house blown down. Carpenters, tinsmiths, and labourers, all worked willingly and finished the job in one day, to the gratification of the old man who has been a resident of Temora for many years.
