Pfer Press Association. AUCKLAND, Dec. 22. The weather was fine and the going good for. track work at Ellerslie this morning. The course proper was used nearly three trestle out. . Honour finished in front of Philhpic over four furlongs in 50 2-5. Silvermine was several lengths ahead of Bright Glow at the end of five furlongs in 1.14 3-5. Catkin was slightly better than Briar Root over six furlongs in 1.20. Lomint was half a length better than Sir Russell over seven furlongs in 1.31 1-5- „ , Ceremony ran four furlongs in 49 3-5. . . Tea Queen and Optimistic did an easy four furlongs in 53. Speed Light covered live furlongs in 1.7. . , x Talisker and Perception covered ten furlongs in 2.16 4-5, the former pleasing. Corinnax, Papatu, Hoylake and Goshawk finish as named over ten furlongs in 2.15 4-5. The last round took 2.5 3-5. . . , Jolly Money was better than Archeno over five furlongs in 1.6 2-5. Pure Tea covered four furlongs m 50 3-5.
Lady’s Boy and Taniriri were on terms at the end of six furlongs in 1 22 4-5 "Gold Tinge beat Royal Flower and Kinross over six furlongs in 1.20 2-5. Toxeuma and Ventigern were together over seven furlongs in 1.32 4-5. Desert Song and Novell Tea covered five furlongs in 1.7 2-5 from a standing start. Sleepy Sol was a shade better than Golden Wedding over seven furlongs m 1.31 3-5. .. . Cashier beat Tcheka over a mile in 1.44 4-5. • Sfaglrunter was going as well ns Cimabue over half a mile in 49 2-5. Lysander was slightly ahead of Awar rere over five furlongs in 1.3 2-5. Amor and Wharncliffe were on •terms in a gallop, running the last seven furlongs in 1.38. Hyde Parle was ahead of Modest Boy over a mile in 1.47 4-5. . , The Hawk and White hang covered five furlongs in 1.6 together. Oratrix and Concentrate did a round in 2.16 3-5, cantering the first portion and taking 1.36 for the last seven furlongs. . . , , Crown Area and Moorgas, joined by (Court Jester at the six furlong post, ran seven furlongs in 2.36 1-5. Laughing Prince easily beat transformer over ten furlongs m 2.15, the last round taking 2.4 3-5. Count Cavour was better than Mask over a round in 2.4 4-5. ■ Aussie g&ve Just Nell a start and a beating over live furlongs in 1.3, doing it comfortably. , Red Heckle and Leukis were on terms over seven furlongs in 1.33 3-5. Bennie covered four furlongs in Metullus and High Falutin’ covered six furlongs in 1.19 2-5. . „ Consent covered six furlongs in 1.1/ 4-5. . . Desert Glow and Prodice ran in in 2.16, the last round taking 2.6 Gem Light and Praetor did four furlongs in 49 4-5. ■ . Good Boy covered six furlongs m 1.20 3-5. , . . , Subdivision did five furlongs in 1.4. Arikitoa and Air King covered a similar distance in 1.6 1-5. Flying Prince mid Awaroutu ran four furlongs in 51’ 1-5. Cybele did seven in 1.37. Lady Cintra ran six furlongs in 1.21 2-5. ... The jumpers Beaumont (Garrett.) Harbour View (Oliver), Bizarro (McGovern), finished in that order after a good display over four hurdles. Mangaiti (McGovern) and Clockwork (Burgess) shaped well in a similar task. Royal Form (McGovern) and Uralla (Driscoll) jumped four hurdles safely.
