TOKOMARU.

(From Our Own Correspondent.) TOKOMARU, Dec. 20. Miss O. Clarke left on Wednesday for Wellington where she will spond part of tho school holidays. Miss B. Mackonzio has left for Oarnaru. She intends also visiting Stewart Island. Mr Andrew Forsythe, of Napier, is spending the Christmas vacation with his mother, Mrs, D. Forsythe. Miss Molly Bree has returned home after spending an enjoyable holiday in Wellington. Mr and Mrs S. Parr and family, who have been visiting relations in England, are due to arrivo in Wellington on the 31st December by tho Rcmuera. Mrs M. Gibbs and son, of Otaki, are spending tho Christmas vacation with Mr and Mrs W. Parr.

On Wednesday the local school closed for the six Weeks’ vacation.
