COAL TRADE.
BAD YEAR IN N.S.W. Received December 21, 10.35 £f.m. SYDNEY, Dec. 21. According to a report issued on behalf of the Government, the mining industry in New South Wales during the past year has been very unfavourable. The figures indicate a loss of about £2,500,000. This is attributed to the low prices ruling for lead, zinc and tin, and to the depressed condition of the coal trade.
